Having as our base Litochoro, we begin to discover the breathtaking gorge of Enipeas, the most famous Gorge of Olympus.
Starting point of our tour in the gorge, is the position Prionia in the springs of Enipeas, at an altitude of 1.100m.
Following a well preserved and adequately marked international path of mountain routes E4, we meet a natural environment that enchants with its dazzling beauty.Dense vegetation with pine, beech, slopes, gorges and ravines, picturesque wooden bridges, running water, ponds with crystal clear water and small water falls.
The Agio Spilaio is of great interest, where Agios Dionysios in Olympus lived secluded, and the monastery of Agios Dionysios (relics of the old monastery are kept, in a renovated building of the 19th century, established on the 16th century and constituted a revolutionary base on various periods).
The international mountain path E4, after a route of 9 km in length (of moderate difficulty) and a duration of about 4-6 hours, ends in the position “Myloi”, one of the entrances of the National Park of Olympus at an altitude of 400m.
The hiking tour is concluded at the initial point.

On the eastern slopes of Olympus, in Pieria, the mythological traditions placed the nine Muses, protectors of Fine Arts, daughters of Zeus and the titan Mnemosyne: Clio, Euterpe, Thalia, Melpomene, Terpsichore, Erato, Polyhymnia, Urania, and Calliope.
